Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko will undergo groin surgery on Tuesday,
meaning he will miss the FA Cup final against Manchester United on 19 May. Shevchenko, 30, will also miss the last two Premiership games of the season. On Wednesday the Blues face Cup rivals United, who won the Premiership crown on Sunday when Chelsea drew at Arsenal. Chelsea then play Everton at home in the final league game of the season next Sunday.
