18 lucky AFCB fans will have the chance to play 15 minutes each for the
Cherries in a special fundraising match at Dean Court on 14th July
2007, 2pm kick off. Organisers hope that they will raise £100,000 from the star-studded game, which will be used to help the club with it's well documented financial problems. Tickets have been set at £10 anywhere in the ground and for those of us watching it will also possibly be our first opportunity to see any new signings made by Kevin Bond over the summer. The event is based on Sky One's The Match and Blissett's all-star team will include a number of celebrities from the hugely successful reality television show. In the most recent series back in October Blissetts team included celebrities such as musician MC Harvey, athlete Darren Campbell, soap star Tommy Craig and former England cricketer Alec Stewart. Any supporters wishing to take part can collect a sponsorship form from the club. |

The match against a Luther Blissett celebrity XI is set to include a number
of celebrities including Jamie Redknapp and Matt Le Tissier. The
fans will have the unique opportunity of playing alongside Darren Anderton
for the Cherries by raising £3,000 each.
