We love Kanu, but feel Harry Redknapp does not need to play him all the time! Not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I share. Kanu is a class act, this cannot be doubted and last season when many criticised him I vocally backed him but I do get frustrated at times with Redknapp so reluctant to give others a chance at times though. He has started this season very well once again, but in some matches a more mobile and energetic striker than Kanu is needed. In many cases - particularly when we play that lone striker - with him being it if we took this route with someone else at times, with those qualities that he can lack we could be laughing. However Redknapp is the gaffer, so I also agree with the thought that if he is happy then so am I to a large degree, and when all is said and done Redknapp is paid to pick the side. |
