Play maker who will it be |

If you happen to be near Spurs supporters over the past month or so you may hear the discussion about the Spurs midfield. In short we are all waiting for a play maker, someone who can take control of the midfield not just through playing but actually shouting and controlling the team on the pitch from set pieces through to attacking build up play, back to running back and defending. But who would be potentially the player to rise to this position. It takes a certain type of personality to command the respect of your fellow players on the pitch something Roy Keane and Stephen Gerrard to name but a few could and can do. Some may say this will be the roll of Ledly King when he arrives back at the lane however it would be good to see a midfielder someone like Huddlestone rise into this position. He has the power and certainly the size but can he have the voice to command the respect of the team on the pitch for 90 minutes against the top teams in the premiership. |
