The Football Association has charged Leeds United boss Dennis Wise
following comments the former England international made in the 1-1 draw
at Southend United.
Wise has 14 days to respond after being charged with misconduct following his behaviour at Roots Hall. Wise was ordered from the dugout after launching a furious tirade at Nigel Miller after the referee waved away Leeds' late penalty appeals. The former Millwall and Swindon Town manager said after the match: "I've had problems with him before. I don't want him as a ref. He's not good and I don't want him. "I hope there was an assessor here and I hope they put him down a couple of divisions. He gave the penalty and then he pointed the other way. It's a disgrace. "I don't know what he sent me off for, I wasn't listening. Walking on the pitch perhaps?" Wise has already been charged by the FA following his dismissal in the 3-2 home defeat to West Brom in January. |
