Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor is keen for goalkeeper Scott Flinders to remain on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old former Barnsley keeper has been with the Seagulls for just over a month and Taylor is happy for Flinders to get more experience under his belt at the Withdean.
He told the South London Press: "If he could carry on playing there until the end of the season it will do him the world of good.
"All of a sudden he has played 30-odd matches this season, where before he joined us he had about nine. That's only going to do him good.
"John Keeley, the goalkeeping coach at Brighton, is a good friend of mine and he always rings to let me know how Scott's doing."
