The Future Taken for Granted or Not |

Yes, he is a brave man and a shrewd guy, because he has been able to convince some of the most powerful and influential people in English football and got arguably, the most lucrative job in European football (ask any manager). The question to be asked is: Whether Avram Grant has the same qualities as a manager? First of all, I think Bruce Buck made a crucial point when he said that a successful businessman like Roman Abramovich will not appoint a man in such an important position just because he is a friend. Thus, unlike many who have suggested this, Grant is probably not a novice or an incompetent manager. He has something about him, or else, why would the likes of Hiddink, Deschamps ,Ramos (my choice) and the likes be ignored. Now let us look at Chelsea and how they should progress from here, I am a Chelsea fan and thus this is how I expect us to function. And if we do in any other way, then in my opinion Roman should check into a psychopath facility because Jose would have been the best man for Chelsea (which I still believe he is). |
