Serie A Live
Serie A has typically been seen as a league that is boring to watch; this year, this should not be the case any longer. This season there are four teams quite capable of winning the title, with Inter Milan and neighbours AC Milan sure to compete, while Roma and newly promoted Juventus will be hungry for honours as well. Although AC Milan have started off poorly, there is plenty of time for them to rise up the table- and with the likes of Alex Pato and Gilardino in the team anything can happen. If you haven’t got a chance yet to watch the revival of the Serie A, you can watch all the goals and events of each game live at www.oleolefootball.com, due to their live football streaming.
Last season Serie A was hit by a series of unfortunate events due to the match fixing scandal; Juventus were relegated while AC Milan were given a points deduction. These penalties lead to Inter Milan comfortably winning the title, holding off the distant threat of Roma by a long, long way. Although AC Milan only scraped into fourth place at the end of the season, they still did well in winning the Champions League, mainly due to the exploits of Brazilian superstar Kaka. Juventus won Serie B at a canter, despite their point deduction; they had too much class for those in the league below them. As for Roma, they built a team that can do well, and as they kept most of their players in the summer they will hope to make a serious challenge this time around. While Inter Milan won the title last year, they will look to compete with Europe’s elite for the Champions League this year.
This year, AC Milan has unexpectedly done poorly, currently only having ten points after their first seven games. The club seems like they have still failed to replace Andrei Shevchenko, with them often looking poor up front if Kaka does not shine. Pato, brought in with a massive transfer fee from Brazil during the summer cannot play till January due to work permit issues, and AC Milan will hope that they climb the table before then. Inter Milan have started off best of the bunch, gaining seventeen points after their first seven games and sitting three points ahead of both Roma and Juventus. Fiorentina have quietly snuck into fourth place and sit just a point behind the two above them. At the other end of the table, Livorno are in big trouble with just two points off their first seven games, while Reggina and Empoli are not fairing much better with four and five points respectively.
Italian football now promises plenty of twists and turns; with AC Milan’s poor start, it is clear that anything can happen. If you want to start watching Italian football, or are an ardent follower of the Serie A and have been watching it for ages, you can now continue to do so at www.oleolefootball.com, as they have Serie A live football feeds showing each weekend’s top matches.
