This Sunday will see Blackburn Rovers making the short journey to Anfield for an EPL clash against Liverpool. These two teams last played each other back in December and that encounter ended with no goals from either side; this was a lacklustre performance from both teams with neither creating any memorable scoring opportunities. Now, two months later both teams are more eager for points than ever so hopefully this game will provide a lot more action. Come and join us here on oleolefootball.com and with this game with great live stream soccer.
Blackburn are currently twelfth place in the EPL and eleven points behind Liverpool. There last game was against Bolton and that ended with an impressive 3-0 win for the side with goals from Nikola Kalinic, Jason Roberts, and Gael Givet. Manager Sam Allardyce was full of praise for his team’s recent performance; especially considering the fact that the team is missing key players from their defence.
Liverpool have some European action to deal with before the game against Blackburn. Thursday will see them travelling to Romania to face Unirea Urziceni for the second leg of a Europa League game. They will want to save something for Sunday’s game though, because Liverpool know that time is running out if they are to take this year’s league. This has all the ingredients of an exciting encounter so why not come and watch it with us here on oleolefootball.com where you will always find great live streaming soccer. Kick-off at Anfield is 15:00.

Rafa Benitez will be hoping his Liverpool side can continue their recent good form with a victory over relegation strugglers Blackburn in the Premier Leagues early kick off. The Reds will want to put title rivals Manchester United under pressure with the Red Devils not playing till 3pm. Blackburn also need the points desperately in their struggle against relegation. This should be a fascinating encounter and you can see it right here at oleolefootball, the home of live football streaming.
Liverpool continued their recent good form with a dramatic late win at Fulham last Saturday. Substitute Yossi Benayoun scoring in injury to send the Reds above Manchester United into top spot. The Israeli’s goal took them top for less than 24 hours, as Manchester United regained top spot with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday. Liverpool though have an exceptional belief that this season could be the season to end their 19 year league hoodoo.
Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia may return to side after missing last Sundays trip to Fulham and Yossi Benayoun may be rewarded with a place in the starting line-up after scoring the late winner in that game.
Blackburn will look to build on their 2-1 victory over Tottenham last weekend and Rovers really needed that victory as it took them five points clear of the relegation zone. Blackburn have been in good form recently, losing only one of the last six games, that defeat coming at in form Arsenal. Rovers have also won three out of those six and losing only three games out of the last ten.
Blackburn suffered an injury blow with Jason Roberts picking up a foot fracture that could cause the striker to be out of action for up to three weeks. Rovers are also still without long term absentees Steven Reid and Brett Emerton, but midfielder Vince Grella could return after missing the victory over Tottenham last weekend.
