In their last league game, Stoke City entertained the Premier League’s most in-form team of the moment, Birmingham City. And the Blue’s maintained their record of being the in-form team of the moment by beating Tony Pullis’ side 1-0 thanks to a 50^th minute Jerome strike. Despite the defeat though, Stoke are still as high as twelfth position and have 21 points to their name. If they beat Fulham they can climb to tenth in the table.

Stoke City have played nineteen games so far this season. They have won five, drawn six and lost the other eight games. At the Britannia Stadium they have four wins, two draws and three defeats, scoring eleven goals while conceding ten.

By their own standards, Fulham are having a very good season under Roy Hodgson’s stewardship, despite losing the West London derby to Chelsea last time out. That derby match turned out to be very unlucky for the Cottagers. They actually took an early fourth minute lead in the game with a goal from Gera and held out until the 73^rd minute when Drogba equalised for Chelsea. Two minutes later though youngster Smalling put through his own net to gift the lead, and ultimately the win, to Carlo Ancellotti’s Chelsea side.
