The Tottenham Hotspurs will go against Burnley at White Hart Lane this Saturday. Both have played six matches each in the Barclays Premier League. Tottenham will be coming in after their 3-0 loss to Chelsea. Burnley on the other hand had registered a convincing 3-1 win against Sunderland last Saturday. The Tottenham Hotspurs have been much out of limelight this season especially after losing in its last two encounters. Having won four out of six, they definitely need more wins to move up the points table. They have generally played well this season though faltering at some places. They have been able to maintain good possession but have failed to score off this advantage. Keane played well but Defoe failed to impress much. Tottenham also suffered a huge setback when Ledley King had to go off due to injury caused by Lampard’s knock. Further things worsened when centre half Bassong had to be carried off after he fell awkwardly on his shoulders. These injuries have created a definite void in the Tottenham mid and defence lines.

Burnley on the other hand is definitely high in spirits after their win last week. This was Burnley’s third win this season. They played well up to their capabilities and did pretty well. Nugent scored a double continuing his brilliant run. Alexander too scored of an early penalty to get a goal under his kitty. Fletcher and Paterson played with tremendous skill and made moves that left opponents gasping. Elliot was a key player in maintaining the tempo up for Burnley. However McCann suffered an injury in the 28^th minute and his chances are very unlikely this week.

Harry Redknapp will definitely be preparing his men against Owen Coyle’s men, as they play at home and aspire for a much awaited and much wanted win.
