Should Falkirk beat Dundee on Tuesday and Inverness lose to Rangers, the gap between the two could increase to five points. Caley Thistle boss Terry Butcher would certainly want to prevent that from happening.

When Inverness went to the Ibrox Stadium in November 2008, they were thrashed 5-0. Kris Boyd scored a hat trick then, and all five of Rangers’ goals came in the first half.
