The Bianconeri went to Stadio San Nicola last weekend and were shocked 3-1 by Bari. Juventus equalised in the 23^rd minute when David Trezeguet scored from close range after Bari keeper Jean Francois Gillet had got his finger tips to Diego’s first time effort. Bari went ahead before the break when Paul Barretto was fouled by World Cup winning defender Fabio Cannavaro in the box. Barretto himself converted the resulting penalty to make it 2-1. Juve earned a chance to equalise when Fabio Grosso was adjudged to have been fouled, but Diego sent his spot kick over the bar. Sergio Almiron struck the killer blow four minutes from time, firing home from thirty yards out to put Bari 3-1 ahead.

Sinisa Mihajlovic suffered a loss in his first game as Catania manager as the Sicilian outfit went down to Livorno last weekend. Lithuanian forward Tomas Danilevicius scored the winner two minutes from time for Livorno.

Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen is suspended for Juventus while Giuseppe Mascara will also be unavailable for Catania following his sending off against Livorno. Catania are currently at the bottom of Serie A having collected only nine points from their first sixteen games.
