This Wednesday Brazil will return to their own turf to play Paraguay in Recife at the Estadio Jose do Rego Maciel. Last time these nations met was in June of last year and Paraguay spent the entire game with the upper hand, squashing Brazil's dreams throughout the entire game. Goals by Roque Santa Cruz brought Paraguay to the winner's circle. Whatever Paraguay is bringing to the game this time, Brazil will face it without Luis Fabiano who received two yellow cards yesterday and was suspended. Now Dunga has to choose between Pato and Nilmar for forwards, and although most are saying that he will start with Pato, the Brazil coach could have a surprise up his sleeve.

Paraguay just finished a game with Chile, where they played without Roque Santa Cruz. It is unknown whether or not the star forward will participate in Wednesday's match, and if he doesn't, does that give Brazil a big edge? The game with Chile ended in a surprising loss 2-0, and they are currently second on the South America standings with 24 points. Paraguay's record is one win, three draws and three draws. The win came after a tournament with Columbia, playing an away game. Brazil also has 24 points and are in first place because of goal differential. Brazil's record includes 6 wins, 6 draws and just one loss. 

Brazil's squad included Julio Cesar, Alexandre Pato, Julio Baptista, Felip Melo, Andre Santos, Gilberto Silva and Daniel Aves. Their lineup to start will probably sound something like Julio Cesar, Kleber, Juan, Lucio, Elano, Gilberto Silva, Dani Alves, Kaka Robinho, Felip Melo and Alexandre Pato. On Paraguay's side Justo Villar, Aldo Bobadilla, Diego Barreto, Carlos Bonet, Denis Caniza, Johathan Santana Victor Caceres and Salvador Cabanas are just a few of the names that make up their squad.
