After a morale boosting win against Dundee United, Gretna put up a fighting performance against Aberdeen at home to notch up a satisfactory 1-1 draw on the Boxing day round of matches. It had looked as though the Raydale Park faithful were to be disappointed when in the 86th minute Steve Lovell put the Dons ahead. However a late injury time equalizer meant that Gretna finally  touch double figure points tally for this season. Gretna are currently rooted at the wrong end of the table and will need to improve their woeful away form if they are to escape the dreaded drop this year.
