Watch Marseille vs. Liverpool live on your computer with www.oleolefootball.com Liverpool travel to France to take on Marseille in a winner take all clash at the Stade Valodrome on Tuesday.

Group A is intriguingly poised with just two points separating leaders Porto and bottom placed Besiktas and all four teams still in with a shot of qualifying. Liverpool and Porto are level on seven points each and whoever comes on top in this match would qualify into the knockout rounds of the Champions League. A draw coupled with a Besiktas away win at Porto would favour Marseille as they would have a better head to head record with Liverpool thanks to their 1-0 away win at Anfield on Matchday2.However,if Besiktas manage to improve their terrible away form, which dipped even lower following their 80- thrashing at the hands of Liverpool in their last away outing and manage to beat Porto away, it would be Liverpool who would go through with Porto from this group as all three teams would be tied on 8 points and Liverpool  would progress by virtue of their superior record against the other two teams.

Liverpool have come fighting back into qualifying contention after a dismal start which left them with a just a single point in hand after their first three matches. However 12 goals and three victories in their last three matches has given the Reds renewed vigour and they would be coming into this clash with a sense of optimism following their strong form of late. In their last outing against Porto, Liverpool left it late and it took a strong final surge to give the Mersysiders a 4-1 win. Liverpool would be looking to repeat their Matchday 6 heroics three years back when they came from behind to beat Olympiakos in a must win match. Liverpool went on to win the Champions League that year and would be hoping that history would repeat itself this time around.

Marseille have lost in their last two games after a roaring start to the campaign which saw them lead the pack with seven points. However, two successive losses to Porto and Besiktas on the road has cast a shadow on their qualifying prospects and they would be looking to muster up a much improved performance this time around. Marseille would be counting on ex-Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse and midfield maestro Sameer Nasri to help them get past the English outfit.
